A gorgeous Friday evening, outside seating and terrific beer. Kegel's is a treat, but avoid the Friday Fish Fry food.
We enjoyed the atmosphere, people, beer and pretzel. A big win.
But, the fried walleye and perch were inedible (admittedly, we did not try the baked fish on offer). It seemed as if the fish was fried to a hulk. Perhaps their other dishes offer optimism. Maybe we'll try one day. Yet, we have warm memories of the 4th generation pub. Props to the family and staff for making it a great destination. The service was terrific. Link.
